Should I connect my printer via USB or the network?

We recommend connecting via a TCP / IP network connection. Compared to a USB connection, it offers the advantage of always reporting the correct printer status to GMG ColorProof and thus, possible hardware problems can be solved faster. This is also the only connection type allowing direct control of internal measuring devices.
