Additionally to software updates, your proof standards and spot color sets can now be automatically updated as well. With this new feature, you will immediately benefit from the results of our GMG ColorExperts without needing to wait for the next software release.
If you choose to install a new software patch automatically, new proof standards (and the corresponding profiles) and spot color sets can be downloaded as well during that process from now on.
When new proof standards are available for one of your installed printer-media combinations, you will be notified by an opening window after the installation. There you can see the new proof standards. After selecting what you want to activate, the chosen proof standards will be automatically downloaded and added to the database. Proof standards you do not select now can also be added any time later in the Database view>Proofing Conditions tabbed page. Please note that an active internet connection is required for later adding as well.
New spot color sets will always be added to the database, i. e. will be ready for use immediately.
