The attached error log file was sent in by a customer who was getting a technical error. It was loading the database without a problem but failed just before loading defaults on the splash screen with the Technical Error.
The error log was sent the log over to Germany, and the fault was a corruption in the ftpuploads.xml file, which resides in the %appdata% folder under \GMG GmbH & Co. KG\CP\5.6.0.x Just by deleting this xml file and relaunching, the error is resolved.
