What should I consider before installing the latest AppService or GMG Software version?

If you are still using a hardware dongle you should ensure that the following points have been checked.

Before installing a new GMG application:

• Close all running GMG applications: see here
• disconnect measurement devices
• disconnect the USB-over-network connection to the dongle (in case this is used)

Before starting the new GMG application:

• connect the USB-over-network dongle again (if the dongle is connected this way)
