How to display the legacy (hidden) printers in ColorProof 5.16?

With the release of ColorProof 5.16 some old printers have been hidden in the UI. This means that in this version you cannot add e.g. a new Epson Stylus Pro 4880.

In ColorProof 5.15 this was still possible:

Workaround 1:
Install ColorProof 5.15, add the legacy printer and update to CP 5.16.

Workaround 2:

Use this hack in the config file to display the legacy printers in the printer list.

1. Shut down Colorproof completely (also the icon in the task bar)
2. Open C:\Program Files\GMG\ColorProof05
3. Copy file colorproof.exe.config to your desktop
4. Rename the colorproof.exe.config remaining in the CP05 folder e.g. into colorproof.exe.config_orig
5. Edit file on your desktop:
6. Search for "<add key="EnableOutOfServicePrinters" value="false" />
7. Change the value to true
   
8. Save the file
9. Move the file back into C:\Program Files\GMG\ColorProof05
10. Start ColorProof
11. You can now select the old printer from the list
