How do I make sure I’m Using the latest Pantone Libraries?
Updated June 2023 for the release of Pantone V5 in CP 5.14, OC 3.0 and CS 5.4
The following is a recommendation as to which Pantone Libraries you should have active in your Workflows.
Quick Answer:
ColorProof
- Pantone Solid Coated (or Uncoated) V5
OpenColor
- Pantone Solid Coated (or Uncoated) V5
ColorServer
- Pantone Solid Coated (or Uncoated) V5
Note: It’s not recommended to have active uncoated and coated libraries in the same workflow since you don’t print on different stocks at the same time. If you print on coated and uncoated media a separate workflow should be configured for the different stocks. The proper coated or uncoated libraries can then be selected.
