The ChannelRemover function allows a quick and accurate removal of complete color channels from CMYK objects, layers or masks, e.g. for removing cyan from specific color areas.
How to remove an image channel
- Open a CMYK image in Adobe Photoshop.
- Select an area or layer that you to clean up from a certain color.
Start ColorPlugin from Plugins > GMG ColorPlugin for Adobe Photoshop and click ChannelRemover. - Under Keep Channels, deactivate the channel you want to remove and click OK.
The removal will automatically be compensated for so that the color stays the same.
