How to fully remove GMG ColorPlugin?

WINDOWS

On Windows operating systems, the ColorPlugin can be removed using the Control Panel.

 

MAC

For Mac operating systems, there is no uninstall option and the software has to be removed manually. To do so, please delete all of the following folders and files:

  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS5
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS6
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/ColorPlugin
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/GMG_ColorPlugin_WelcomeTour
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/GMG_ExtensionStartupManager
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions/ColorPlugin
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions/GMG_ColorPlugin_WelcomeTour
  • /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions/GMG_ExtensionStartupManager
  • /Library/Application Support/GMG

Once deleted, the removal is complete.

Legacy ICC profiles can be removed under:

  • /Users/xxx/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
