Some colors produced by certain printing processes cannot be fully reproduced even with the wide color gamut of an inkjet printer, such as the ones used by GMG ColorCard. Such colors are considered to be out of gamut.
GMG ColorCard’s color management optimizes the output to consistently achieve the best possible match. In some cases, however, a visible deviation may still occur, resulting in an increased Delta E value.
If this happens, the application notifies you and displays the expected Delta E value. This allows you to decide whether the deviation is acceptable or whether you want to cancel the print job, thereby saving time and resources.
