How to Perform a Manual Measurement with the X-Rite i1Pro 3

Before You Begin

Before starting, make sure that:

• GMG ProofControl is installed.
• The X-Rite i1Pro 3 is connected to your computer by USB.

Perform a Manual Measurement

1. Start GMG ProofControl
2. The X-Rite i1Pro 3 is being initialized and displayed in the application.
3. If prompted, calibrate the instrument using the calibration base.
4. Select your strip in GMG ProofControl.
5. Position the i1Pro 3 before the first patch of the row you want to measure.
6. Click and hold the device button.
7. Measure the test chart row.
8. Release the button.
9. Repeat for each row in the test chart
