A gradation displays the tone values of the single inks between paper white (0%) and solid tone (100%) – both as numeric values and as a curve:
Tone values can be displayed either based on density (Murray-Davis method) or colorimetrics (CTV – ISO 20654:2017). The display method can be set separately for CMYK and spot colors. The currently selected method is shown above the graph as an abbreviation.
The button with the eye icon opens the calculation settings for the display.
Display settings
The default setting for CMYK is Murray Davis (Status E), highlighted in blue.
The default setting for spot colors is CTV (according to ISO 20654:2017.), highlighted in blue.
