GMG ColorServer provides a restore function that allows you to easily restore your system from a backup file.
Steps
- Open the GMG ColorServer Configurator.
- On the Server Configuration tab, scroll down to the Backup and Restore section and click Restore
- In the file selection dialog, select the backup file and click OK.
- A pop-up window opens and the restore process starts. The progress is shown as a percentage in a progress bar.
- When the restore is complete, click OK to close the pop-up window.
- Click OK to close the GMG ColorServer Configurator.
During the restore process, the server is intentionally stopped. This is indicated by corresponding client messages and the status bar indicator. As soon as the restore is complete, the server restarts automatically and is ready for use again.
