GMG ColorServer provides a restore feature that allows you to restore your system from a backup file.
Steps
- Open the GMG ColorServer Configurator.
- On the Server Configuration tab, scroll down to the Backup and Restore section and click Restore
- In the file selection dialog, select the backup file and click OK.
- A dialog box opens and the restore process begins. The progress is displayed as a percentage in a progress bar.
- When the restore is complete, click OK to close the pop-up window.
- Click OK to close the GMG ColorServer Configurator.
During the restore process, the server is temporarily stopped. This is indicated by corresponding client messages and the status indicator. Once the restore process is complete, the server restarts automatically and is ready for use.
