Using control strips for OpenColor jobs

The following media wedges are available for OpenColor ProofStandards:

• Spot color control strip: e.g. GMG Spot Color Control Strip V2.0
• OpenColor control strip: e.g. 5 tints - 0/20/40/60/80/100 OpenColor control strip
• Multicolor strips: e.g. Fogra MediaWedge Multicolor 5C V1
• Ugra/Fogra Media wedge CMYK V3.0 can also be used in conjunction with dynamic OpenColor profiles (then of course only checks CMYK). 

All the wedges mentioned above can be measured directly with the internal measuring device. The label can then be printed on the proof.

Please note that not all jobs and measurements of OpenColor jobs with dynamic profiles are transferred to ProofControl.

Jobs with the following media wedges are transferred to ProofControl:

1. Eye-One Spot color control strip - Full Tone V1.0
2. Eye-One Spot color control strip V2

Jobs with the following media wedges are NOT transferred to ProofControl:

1. Eye-One Ugra/Fogra Media wedge CMYK V3.0 
2. Eye-One Multicolor Strips
3. OpenColor Strips are not available for the i1 measuring device. However, measurements from the ILS30 of these strips are loaded directly into the history.
