How to display OpenColor strips and measurements in GMG ProofControl?

The following media wedges are available for OpenColor ProofStandards:

• Spot color control strip: e.g. GMG Spot Color Control Strip V2.0
• OpenColor control strip: e.g. 5 tints - 0/20/40/60/80/100 OpenColor control strip
• Multicolor strips: e.g. Fogra MediaWedge Multicolor 5C V1
• Ugra/Fogra Media wedge CMYK V3.0 can also be used in with dynamic OpenColor profiles (and will of course only check CMYK).

All of the above wedges can be measured directly with the internal measuring device. The ProofControl inline label can then be printed on the proof.

Please note that not all jobs and measurements of OpenColor jobs with dynamic profiles are transferred to ProofControl.

Jobs with the following media wedges are transferred to ProofControl:

• Eye-One Spot color control strips - Full Tone V1.0
• Eye-One Spot color control strips V2

Jobs with the following media wedges are NOT transferred to ProofControl:

• Eye-One Ugra/Fogra Media Wedge CMYK V3.0
• Eye-One Multicolor Strips

OpenColor Strips are not available for the i1 measuring device. However, ILS30 measurements of these strips are loaded directly into the history.

In general: If you want to transfer jobs to ProofControl, these settings should be activated. ProofControl-Inline-measurements then appear in the history, jobs with an i1 wedge in the job list (but only the OpenColor jobs listed above).
