What should I consider before installing the latest Application Service or GMG software version?

If you are still using a hardware dongle, please ensure that the following points have been checked.

Before installing a new GMG software version:

• Close all running GMG applications: see here
• disconnect all measurement devices
• disconnect the USB-over-network connection to the dongle (in case this is used)

Before starting the new version:

• re-connect the USB-over-network dongle (if the dongle is connected this way)
