Licensing

GMG ColorPlugin licenses are user-based and managed through our cloud platform GMG Manage (see What is GMG Manage?).

Each license is assigned to a specific user, identified by their email address, ID, and password, and authenticated via Single Sign-On (SSO). This structure simplifies access management and offers high flexibility, as it allows you to use the same credentials across GMG applications and access the software on different devices.

If you don't have a GMG Manage account yet, please contact our GMG Order team under order@gmgcolor.com or your local dealer to get a free account. They can also provide you with a demo if you’d like to explore GMG ColorPlugin before purchasing a license.

Can I work offline with user-based licenses?
Yes, a permanent internet connection is not required. However, please note that you must at least connect to the cloud every 30 days for user-based licenses to remain active.
