Channel mapping

Image channels are usually mapped automatically in GMG ColorProof via assignment rules and the selected proof standard. In some cases, however, image files contain unmatched colors or technical channels which are not needed in proofing. You and your team can use GMG ColorProof GO to easily adjust the channel mapping without having to access the device GMG ColorProof is installed on.

How to map channels with GMG ColorProof GO:

1. Select the relevant job and click the Edit button on the right pane.
2. Adjust the automatic mapping to suit your needs by replacing, defining or removing channels: 
   
3. Click Apply to confirm your changes. 
   Your changes will be forwarded to GMG ColorProof and the job will be processed.
