If the CXF spot colors are not defined in GMG OpenColor
CXF spot colors that are not recognized because they are not defined in the OpenColor project can be manually mapped to the CXF definition: Use CXF Data
To map all non-recognized spot colors at once, set the Print Order and CXF drop down list to From Input File (PDF). The channels are now displayed with the OpenColor icon. The calculated MXN with the additional CxF colors will be provided by OC and afterwards deleted again.
If the setting From Input File (PDF) is selected, the CXF definitions will be applied to the spot color channel, at the same time the print sequence of the PDF is adopted (because the spot colors and thus the sequence are missing in GMG OpenColor). If you want to retain the OpenColor print sequence, you must create the CXF colors in OC or change the sequence with the setting Custom.

If the CXF spot colors are defined in GMG OpenColor
All CXF spot colors will be recognized in GMG ColorProof automatically if they are defined in the corresponding OpenColor project. No additional action will be needed. The CXF channels are displayed with the OpenColor icon. The print sequence of OpenColor can be applied.
