You can define global settings for the profile creation of proof and separation profiles.
- Maximal Profile Size
The file size generally depends on the number of channels and profile fulcrums. In most cases, the default profile size limit of 25 MB will be balancing quality and performance perfectly well. In exceptional cases, it might make sense to either reduce or extend the file size, as it limits the number of fulcrums in profile calculations if the profile size cannot be met. - Allow Automatic Profile Creation
With this option, you can activate or deactivate the dynamic profile requests via other GMG applications such as GMG ColorProof. - Use Latest MXN Profiling
In GMG OpenColor 3.0 and later, an improved MXN profiling technology is used that lets you create high-resolution multicolor profiles up to 15 times faster than before. At the same time, the finished file will be about 90% smaller compared to the legacy profiling, so your database will require less storage space overall. Profiles that have been created with the latest MXN profiling can be used with GMG ColorProof 5.14 and later. Proof profiles for earlier versions can still be created with the legacy profiling to ensure compatibility. - Use recommended resolution for DotProof profiling
This option ensures that CMYK is calculated using only the necessary number of fulcrums (9 instead of 12). For "high-resolution" profiles, it can be deactivated, although this is a rather uncommon use case and results in significantly longer processing times. For spot colors, the number of fulcrums is reduced to four. - Convert All X-Rite Measurements to XRGA
Makes sure that all measurements from X-Rite measuring devices conform to the new XRGA standard.
