How to create a new calibration

1. Connect your measurement device
2. Click the Create Calibration button. You can access this option in either of the following ways:
   • In the database, click Add next to the medium you want to create a calibration for, then click Create Calibration.
     
   • On the Output tab, click the symbol next to the printer, then click Create Calibration. The calibration will be created for the medium currently loaded in the printer.
     
3. Select the print mode for the new calibration. 
   Optionally, you can edit the name and add a comment.
   
4. Click Next
5. Print the visual test form and adjust the ink density if necessary.
6. Print all test charts.
7. Measure the test charts.
   
8. The output condition is calculated.
   
9. Click Finalizing to save the output condition in GMG OpenColor.
10. The output condition is synchronized with the ColorProof database and appears as a new calibration set for the corresponding medium. For more information about synchronizing OpenColor items, see: Connect to OpenColor
