To ensure the best results, we recommend using the original 1-Bit files generated by your CtP-RIP. These files provide the most accurate representation of the halftone shape and angle arrangement as they directly reflect the final exposure output.
However, if the original 1-Bit files are unavailable, you can alternatively create 1-Bit TIFF files from a PDF or PS file using GMG 1-Bit Creator.
Using GMG 1-Bit Creator
In workflows:
- Under Print Settings, open the tab RIP.
- Under 1-Bit Creator (for PDF / PS) > 1 Bit Creator (for PDF / PS), choose DotProof.
Proceed as described in Halftone proofs with 1-Bit files.
In manual jobs:

Under Image Settings, open the tab 1-Bit Creator (for PDF/PS) and select the screen set that matches your DotProof profile.
