The measuring conditions differ primarily in their adaption to different viewing conditions. The modes each contain different UV light values.
- M0 corresponds the measuring condition formerly known under the name without filter, where no UV light is filtered.
- M1 corresponds the D50 5000K measuring condition, which contains a defined portion of UV light and is adapted to the viewing condition ISO3669:2009.
- M2 corresponds the UV-Cut-Filter mode, which filters UV light completely.
