Yes, but the third-party software needs not only the test charts themselves, but also additional information about the exact chart layout. You can export both in GMG OpenColor: the test charts as PDF files, the metadata as CGATS files. These formats can be read by all common third-party applications.
Please export the test charts themselves first, and then the corresponding metadata.
How to export your test charts as PDF files:
- In GMG OpenColor, open the tab Database.
- From the menu on the left, choose Test Charts.
- Double-click on the test chart that you want to measure with the third-party application.
A new window opens. - Click on the arrow to the left of Finalize to open this section.
The view with the single test chart pages opens. -
Please follow steps below for every single test chart page:
- To the right of the test chart page, click on the Export icon .
A dialog opens. - Under File Name, enter a name for your test chart page.
- As File Type, choose PDF files (*.pdf).
- Confirm by clicking Save.
- To the right of the test chart page, click on the Export icon .

- In GMG OpenColor, open the tab Database.
- From the menu on the left, choose Test Charts.
