Every now and then, it can be useful to remove outdated and no longer needed files from the system.
Example: When the cache contains an old entry, which leads to license errors, hotfolders that are marked as 'unlicensed' or when jobs are no longer processed.

- Exit the GMG ColorServer Client
- Stop the services. To do this, right-click the GMG Service Controller icon in the Windows taskbar and select Stop.
While the services are stopped, the circle of the GMG Service Controller icon will turn orange. Please wait until the circle turns red, indicating that the server has stopped completely. - Quit GMG Service Controller. To do this, right-click the GMG Service Controller icon in the Windows taskbar and select Quit.
- Quit GMG Hotfolder Service Monitor. To do this, right-click the GMG Hotfolder Service Monitor icon in the Windows taskbar and select Quit.
- End all GMG tasks in the task manger, including the appservice.exe
- Open the directory C:\Users\Public\GMG\ColorServer\Server:
Delete the contents of the folder Working - Open the directory C:\Users\Public\GMG\ColorServer\Hotfolder Service:
Delete the contents of the folder Working - Enter%appdata% into your windows explorer and confirm by clicking Enter
Go back one level and open the path
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GMG\GMG ColorServer Client\Working:
Delete the contents of the folder Working - Navigate to this path and delete the contents in this path: C:\Users\Public\GMG\Temp
- Launch GMG ColorServer again: Start the GMG Service Controller (there might appear a warning at first start, which will disappear again).
- Start GMG Hotfolder Service Monitor
