In this case, an empty queue indicates either a wrong network configuration in the Hotfolder Service Configurator or an inactive GMG Hotfolder Service Monitor.
Please eliminate the possible causes as follows:
Open the GMG ColorServer Configurator > Service Monitor > Hotfolder > Is the checkbox Start Hotfolder as Service activated or deactivated? The further procedure depends on this setting.
Proceed as follows if the checkbox is activated:
Open the GMG Hotfolder Service Configurator > Settings...
- Is the Server Address correct? If not, please enter the correct address. The default is here: localhost
- Is the Server Port correct? If not, please enter the correct port. The default port is: 8111.
- Is the Queue Port correct? If not, please enter the correct port. The default queue port is: 5555.
These settings may individually differ from your network configuration. If in doubt, please contact your network administrator to ask for the correct network settings.
Confirm by clicking OK. Now your files should be displayed correctly in the queue.
Proceed as follows if the checkbox is deactivated:
Please make sure that the GMG Hotfolder Service Monitor is active.
If it is deactivated, please restart it.
Now your files should be displayed correctly in the queue.
