Measuring test charts – GMG Support

Import the test chart layout
Import the test chart layout from the corresponding CGATS or ZIP file.
Each test chart page requires a separate CGATS file to describe its layout. If your test chart consists of multiple pages, a ZIP file is used as a container for these files

Select the measuring device
Select the desired measuring device.
Configure the measuring device settings
Configure the settings for the measuring device (e.g. patch or scan mode).
Place the test chart
Depending on the device, place the test chart on the holder for the robotics.
Start the measurement
Start the measurement using the corresponding button.
Prepare device calibration
For measuring devices without an integrated white tile, place the device on the white tile and then confirm the notification dialog.
Perform calibration
The calibration is now carried out; a notification appears at the bottom right.
Measurement with robotics or handheld device
Follow the instructions for your robotics-based measuring device; the measurement will then start automatically.
With a handheld device, you can begin measuring as soon as the notification appears at the bottom right.

With handheld devices, you can now switch between strip and patch measurement at any time via the settings, without needing to recalibrate the device.
