Your Epson SureColor cannot be calibrated within the defined tolerances? The maximum amount of iterations is reached and the result is still not good enough?
Please perform the following actions before calibrating again:
- Check the expiration date of the inks and replace cartridges if needed. Please note that two power cleanings are needed to remove the old ink from the tubes.
- Please shake all the inks well. (If inks are not shaken, they can build a sediment. To increase the print quality please regularly shake the inks.)
- Print a nozzle pattern: ColorProof > Printer > Maintenance: print nozzle pattern
or on the printer display: Select TEST PRINT > NOZZLE CHECK > PRINT - In case of disrupted lines, please keep cleaning the print heads:
ColorProof > Printer > Maintenance: Power clean print heads || Or clean only color pairs which need cleaning -
Automated paper feed adjustment: ColorProof > Output > Printer > Start Paper Feed Adjustment
If your printer does not allow automatic feed correction, perform a manual feed adjustment. -
Print head alignment: If you are using an Epson SC-P7500/9500, you will find the instructions here. For the other printer series you will find the instructions below.
