Please be aware that the Epson SureColor SC-P7500 reacts very sensitive to hardware changes. The better the 7500 printer is adjusted, the better results you will get.
Hardware adjustments
The following technical alignments are essential to achieve the best results in the SC-P7500 printer:
- Print head alignment
- Deactivate the lateral feed adjustment: Printer display > Roll Paper > Advanced Paper Settings > Lateral Feed Adjustment > off
- Enable RIP priority: Menu > General Settings > System Administration > Paper Feed Settings Mode > RIP Priority > ON
- Paper feed adjustment
- Print unidirectional (instead of bidirectional)
After performing the above steps, please check whether the sharpness fits your expectations.
Note: Please never place a test chart in the first 15 cm of the proof. In this area the paper feed is not applied.
If the results do not meet your expectations, use the registration test to evaluate the registration of your printer.
RIP resolution
If you still find the text and lines slightly lacking in sharpness after the hardware adjustments, you can change the RIP resolution from the default of 300 to 600.

Anti-aliasing
You can also change the anti-aliasing value from 4 to 8, which will give you a sharper fine detail result.
