Administrator mode

The activated admin mode will grey out important settings in the GMG ColorProof menu to prevent unintended changes by other users.

Activate the admin mode

At first use a password needs to be defined:

Note: If you uninstall GMG ColorProof, the password information is not deleted from the registry. Your old password will still apply after reinstalling the program later.

Switch to admin mode
Choose "administration mode" from the system menu and insert the password. After clicking ok all settings are available.


Deactivate the password protection
1. On the System menu, click 'No Password Protection'.
2. Enter the appropriate password.
You can now toggle between standard and Administration mode without entering a password
