Profiles and database content: AppData Package (*.pkg)

When installing GMG ColorProof for the first time, you have two options:

• Install the complete AppData Package, which includes all profiles, proof standards, and other database content.

• Or install only the core ColorProof software, and download required data on demand — for example, when using a specific printer or proofing media.

Please note: Installing the full AppData Package will extend the setup process by a few minutes.

In most cases, downloading the package in advance is not necessary. However, if your system lacks internet access or operates in a high-security environment, it is recommended to install the full package.
