Download options: web installer or full installer?

On the GMG Download Center, you have two possibilities to download our software:

1. Web Installer (Default Option)

• Smaller file size
• Downloads all required components during installation from the GMG cloud
• Requires an internet connection

2. Full Installer (Offline Installer)

• Larger file size
• Includes all required resources (e.g. profiles, database content)
• Ideal for systems without internet access or operating in strict security environments

Product updates via installer

When updates are available, GMG ColorProof notifies you in-app. Updates are downloaded and installed via the web installer, requiring an active internet connection. If your system is offline or has restricted internet access, you can manually update by downloading the latest full installer from the website.
