When enabled, GMG ColorProof generates a Job Ticket Report for every job processed via a job ticket.The report provides full transparency of how the job was processed and serves as documentation for quality control, validation, and audit purposes.
If a job fails during processing, a Job Ticket Report is still generated (when reporting is activated). In this case, the report specifies the affected file and shows related warnings and error messages. This helps diagnose configuration issues or workflow errors in automated environments.
How to activate the Job Ticket Report
To enable reporting and define the storage location, do the following.
System > General > Job Ticket Report: Activate the Job Ticket Report option.
Define the folder path where reports should be saved.
The variables <identifier> and <filename> must be part of the path and are automatically replaced with the corresponding job ticket information during processing, ensuring that each report is uniquely assigned to its job.
