Add a custom Proof Standard to the ColorProof database
- On the Database menu, navigate to the printer > media > calibration set for which you want to add a proof standard. Click: Add > Add custom proof standard…
- On the first tab, enter a name for the proof standard.
- Enter a version number. The version number serves as a unique identifier if you have several versions of the same proof standard. It is recommended to use a naming convention, for example, V1, V2, V3.
- On the color management tab, please click the button for the corresponding profile type, e.g. MX based if you want to add a proof standard for MX4/MX5. For MXN/MXD based, see: How to manually create an OpenColor proof standard
- Leave the settings on the Calibration Sets tab unchanged. Or click the + button on the toolbar to add a calibration set
- You can leave the settings on the proof verification tab unchanged or define a default control stip and a proofcontrol standard. See: Can I use GMG ProofControl Inline with my own custom proof standard?
