As a user of GMG ProductionSuite with a valid SUC you can upgrade your installation to GMG PrintFactory.
While GMG PrintFactory is for all intents and purposes only a name change, it uses different folders for files and installation.
5.0.9 was the first PrintFactory installer which had a migration module for existing ProductionSuite installs. This module wasn't working 100%, for example firewall exemptions weren't properly switched. With the next updater (5.0.12; there were no 5.0.10 or 5.0.11) this was fixed and the migration works now very well. Your ProductionSuite should be at least on version 2.2.4 before the PrintFactory update, so the structure is current (direct upgrades from 2.0.x or 2.1.x might not retain all data).
The migration might still leave some old executable or data files, so once you upgraded and launched PrintFactory at least once (to finish the migration) you might want to manually remove the following subfolders and their content (might require you to restart the computer before you can delete):
On MacOS:
/applications/gmg/ProductionSuite/
/users/shared/ProductionSuite/
On Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\gmg\ProductionSuite\
C:\users\public\ProductionSuite\
Also remove any remaining old ProductionSuite shortcuts from desktop, task bar or quick launch bar.
Early June 2016 we're releasing GMG PrintFactory 5.0.13 which uses some new licensing routines. So please ensure you not only update the software also on the computer running your license, but then please press the UPDATE button in the LicenseInfo on the LicenseServer. This will refresh some of the license elements and support the new PUSH mechanics in our licensing system which will reduce the need to regularly push UPDATE to keep your license refreshed.
