Multi-tenancy: Can one user be part of multiple organizations?

Yes. GMG Manage supports enterprise customers with access across multiple organizations through a Head Organization/Site structure.

A Head Organization can be linked to one or more Sites. This enables designated administrators to manage users and licenses across multiple Sites without requiring separate user accounts for each organization.

How does the Head Organization/Site structure work?

The Head Organization serves as the central organization. GMG can assign one or more Sites to the Head Organization.

Users with the Group Admin role in the Head Organization can, depending on their permissions:

• View all Sites assigned to the Head Organization
• Navigate between assigned Sites
• Manage users and licenses within those Sites
• Perform permitted administrative actions, such as license transfers
• Assign the Group Admin role to other users in the Head Organization

This structure provides centralized administration while keeping each Site within its own organization context.

Can I assign Sites myself?

No. The Head Organization/Site structure is configured and maintained by GMG.

If you need to:

• Assign a Site to a Head Organization
• Remove a Site from a Head Organization
• Change the organization structure
• Set up Group Admin access

What if my organization does not have one central head organization?

In this case, each organization can still be managed separately. Users may need to be invited to each organization individually, using different email addresses.
