Improved usability & design
The UX and UI have been updated in several areas to provide a more intuitive and consistent user experience.
-
Improved clarity on license transfer:
Previously, it was not always clear whether a license transfer was still in progress or had completed successfully. To improve transparency, we now display a toast notification in the lower-right corner of the screen as soon as the transfer starts. The notification remains visible while the process is running.
Once the transfer is completed, users receive a clear success or failure message. In addition, all transfer actions, including the user who initiated them, are now recorded on the Activity page.

User profile information moved to "My account"
User profile settings have been moved from the My Apps page into a dedicated My account dialog. You can now update your personal information directly from the account menu in the upper-right corner of the screen. Track installed vs. available license updates
The info dialog for a license system now displays both the license update number available in the GMG Cloud and the version currently installed on your system. In the example below, a newer update is available in the cloud but has not yet been installed on the system.

Activity protocol for full transparency
The new Activity view provides transparency into all actions in GMG Manage. You can:
Track who did what and when across your organization
See a complete history of actions such as user changes, license assignments, and invitations
Easily search and sort activities to find relevant information quickly
To ensure optimal performance, the list initially shows the most recent entries, with the option to load more when needed. See also: How to track changes in Manage

MyApps now shows the full GMG portfolio—plus version and Help Center links

Faster, simpler onboarding in Manage
We’ve streamlined the onboarding experience in Manage to make it faster, clearer, and more intuitive for your users. Previously, the process required both an invitation email and a separate email with a verification code, which slowed down onboarding. With this update, onboarding is now much more straightforward.
What changed
-
No more separate email verification for users who sign up through an invitation link. Clicking the invitation now automatically confirms the email—no verification code needed.
- Users who already created an account through self-registration no longer need to click the invitation link to join a new organization. They can simply log in and complete the join step directly in Manage.
For detailed instructions on how the new onboarding works, see our article on registration and organization-joining.

Display of total and remaining volume of ColorCards on the “Products” page
You can now see the total number of cards and the remaining volume (e.g., “854 of 2000 cards”). This completes the overview of all GMG subscriptions and enables better inventory management.
Sortable Systems page columns
All columns on the Systems page are now sortable, helping you find the information you need more quickly and efficiently.
License display issue resolved
We fixed a bug that prevented a small number of specific licenses—configured with custom options in our license server—from appearing correctly. All license types should now display as expected in Manage.

Integration of ColorCard-specific access settings
We have introduced ColorCard-specific access controls to clearly define user permissions for each system, providing consistency with the existing approach used in ColorProof GO. All current system pairings have been automatically migrated to the new settings to ensure uninterrupted operation.

In addition, we made several minor UX improvements to further streamline the overall experience.

Organization admins in Manage can now access all user-based applications more easily! Applications licensed to the admins's email address appear in the My Apps section. Other products that belong to your organization but are not assigned to the admin personally show under Other GMG Apps.
Additionally, we’ve added a new column that provides quick access to more information about each product, linking directly to its Help Center section.

We've made the first step of migrating the ColorProof GO user management into Manage: On the System overview, the SUC is shown (=active or not active) and the ColorProof GO status (=whether CP GO is connected to a system and whether it's licensed). Additionally, we made the licenses searchable, i.e. you find your license options more easily, for example a printer driver. You can also search for specific versions that are installed to see if all systems are on the same version.

Customers using GMG Manage can now access information about the installed product versions across multiple systems. This update provides a clearer overview of deployed versions, enhancing visibility and system management.
In some cases, you may see "No information available." This occurs when the data update is still in progress and should resolve automatically over time. We also moved less important data into a separate info dialog to keep the primary overview as clean as possible.

Today we released the possibility for Organization Admins to move licenses from one machine to another. This requires the latest AppService which has been uploaded to our website a few hours ago. Without this AppService, it is not possible to use this function, shown by an info message in Manage. How does this work in detail? Find out here.

With our new function Request temporary licenses you can now obtain a temporary license package at any time to safeguard business continuity even in time-critical cases. This package covers all essential GMG applications and is valid for four days. Within this period, you can contact your local dealer or our support team to replace the temporary licenses with permanent ones.
