Some errors can be solved by a database cleanup.
Please only perform the database cleanup if an environment backup could be successfully created.
Note that after the cleanup the job lists will be empty.
These are the instructions to reset the database:
- ColorProof > System > Environment backup > Create…
- Fully shut down ColorProof, including the tray icon in the task bar.

- Open C:\Program Files\GMG\ColorProof05
- Double click dbsetup.exe
- Menu > Service Functions > Reset Database

- Start ColorProof
- ColorProof > System > Environment backup > Restore...
The dbsetup.exe is located in C:\Program Files\GMG\ColorProof05
From the ColorProof version 5.17.1 onwards, the location is: C:\Program Files\GMG\ColorProof05\dbsetup
